1. Track every session
What gets measured improves. Use a shot tracker — even pen and paper — and log makes/attempts from 5 spots. You'll see weak zones you didn't know existed.
2. Fix one thing at a time
Don't try to overhaul base, elbow, and release in the same session. Pick one cue per week and own it.
3. Game-speed reps only
Standing form shots build form. They don't build accuracy under the conditions you'll actually shoot in. After your warm-up reps, every shot should mimic game speed — off a screen, off a curl, off the dribble.
4. Video yourself weekly
Slow-mo phone footage from behind and from the side. Compare to a pro shooter you respect. The fixes will be obvious.
